Budget Responsibility Management of Source Migrant Interventions in the
State of Jharkhand in the Districts of Koderma, Hazaribagh and Deoghar

Introduction
CINI has been working with partners in Jharkhand on Education, Protection, Health and Nutrition and HIV for the last five years. CINI envisions working with communities in facilitating a Child and Women Friendly environment. The CWFC (Child and Women Friendly Communities) program is working with communities to address issues of Women, children and adolescents in the domains of Health, Nutrition, Education and Protection.
CINI works along with partner NGOs with the main objective to capacity build them and influence Government Policies and Programmers. Towards this end, CINI is supported by a variety of Local, National and International Donors.
Job Purpose
CINI-Jharkhand facilitates the development of many local NGOs through a Rights based approach in ensuring Children and Women Friendly Communities. Child In Need Institute has been selected by JSACS for Management of Source Migrant Interventions in the State of Jharkhand in the districts of Koderma, Hazaribagh and Deoghar.
Key accountabilities
Programme management – Ability to handle accounts and knowledge of Tally.
Linkages – Competence to work with different departments in the government at the district level, civil society partners including positive networks, PRI members and other divisions.
Reporting – Capability to interpret accounting reports and provide feed back into programme implementation.
Fund management – Know-how to work with allocated funds, submission of accounts and budget preparation.
Responsibilities of State Programme Officer:
1. To provide administrative, financial and logistic support to the project
2. Prepare and submit SOE and UCs to SACS and NACO

Essential
• Should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with Hons in Accountancy.
• Should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting work.
• Fluent in spoken and written Hindi & English
Emoluments : Rs. 1,20,000/- per annum
